Jon Senkowsky

Medical Director

Jon Senkowsky, M.D., is fellowship-trained and board-certified in vascular surgery and wound care. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Board Certified in General Surgery, Vascular Surgery and Surgical Critical Care by the American Board of Surgery. He is also a Diplomat of the American Academy of Wound Management and has received the distinction of Certified Wound Specialist Physician by the American Board of Wound Management.

 

Dr. Senkowsky graduated from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He then went on to complete his surgery residency and vascular surgery fellowship at Tulane University School of Medicine. He has more than 25 years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with disorders affecting the arteries and veins, as well as the care of chronic wounds. As a vascular surgeon, he is now planning to focus his efforts on limb preservation. His practice will include inpatient and outpatient treatments utilizing a comprehensive approach in treatment of chronic ulcerations and wounds in an advanced wound care setting including hyperbaric treatments, wound care supervision along with invasive arterial and venous intervention.

 

Dr. Senkowsky is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery, Fort Worth Surgical Society, Rocky Mountain Traumatological Society, Wound Healing Society and Tarrant County Medical Society. He is a Board Member of the American Board of Wound Management.

Midhat Syed, PA-C, CWS

Meet Midhat Syed, a highly qualified healthcare provider with a passion for wound care and vascular surgery. Midhat graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of Texas at Arlington with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in biology. She then pursued her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, where she made the Dean’s list.

Midhat is a Certified Wound Specialist and has been practicing wound care since 2018. She joined Dr. Senkowsky a year later to expand her expertise to include vascular surgery. With her extensive knowledge and experience in these fields, Midhat is skilled at diagnosing and managing complex wounds and vascular disorders.

What sets Midhat apart is her deep empathy for her patients. She understands the impact that limb salvage and pain relief can have on an individual and their family, and this is what drives her to provide the best possible care. Midhat takes pride in her ability to continually learn and share her knowledge with her patients to help them better manage their condition and improve their quality of life.

Apart from her clinical work, Midhat is fluent in Urdu and Hindi languages, which allows her to communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing with her cat, and watching way too much Netflix.

Song Phuong Le, APRN, FNP-C

Song Phuong Le is a family nurse practitioner specializing in wound care, hyperbaric medicine, and vascular surgery at Complex Healthcare Solutions in Arlington.  He completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida, and then earned his Master of Science degree in Family Nurse Practitioner at Lakeland, Florida.  He holds national board certification with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) as a family nurse practitioner.

Blair Ramirez, MSN, AGACNP-BC

Blair Ramirez has been in the medical field since 2009. Blair obtained her BSN from West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas and worked for the Baptist Saint Anthony hospital system for 5 years before moving back to the Metroplex. She then worked for Texas Health Resources Arlington Memorial Hospital for 7 years as a bedside nurse on the Medical / Surgical floor while obtaining her master’s in nursing at University of Texas at Arlington. She graduated with MSN in Adult Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in December 2021 and board certified by ANCC in July 2022 as well as a certified hyperbaric oxygen therapy provider. She trained under Dr. John Senkowsky in wound care and vascular services while in school and is quickly developing and researching new treatments and skills as she now works side by side with him and the other providers at Complex Healthcare.


When Blair is not working, she is spending her time with her family and loves to cook and be outside with them at the park or neighborhood walks. Blair is a big sports fan and loves to throw watch parties for the Philadelphia Eagles.
