Glenn Hermes is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Complex Healthcare Solutions, LLC. Complex Healthcare Solutions is the foremost healthcare management company specializing in wound care, hyperbaric medicine and endovascular services.
Glenn’s passion is to stop amputations and he strongly believes through this concentrated multidisciplinary approach he will achieve this vision. Glenn has been in the wound care and hyperbaric medicine arena since 1978. He has worked with many of the pioneers in the current day wound care and hyperbaric medicine field.
Glenn is a veteran of the United States Air Force; during his military career he held numerous leadership positions. One of which was notably the Air Forces’ course supervisor for Hyperbaric Medicine program; responsible for training all military and civilian personnel in hyperbaric medicine. During this stage of his career, Glenn revamped the Hyperbaric Medicine curriculum to include real-world clinical scenarios, demonstrating an invaluable source of knowledge within this medical specialty.
After a lengthy Air Force career, Glenn transitioned into the private healthcare system sector as a quality management consultant, becoming a director of quality management. Glenn’s quick rise through the ranks was in his proven record of success, becoming an integral part of the executive team. Glenn had responsibility for directing several departments to include wound care and hyperbaric medicine, quality management, respiratory services, central support services and the sleep lab.
Glenn had the privilege of being trained by Quint Studer; while using his own personal experiences in combination with the prescriptive tools he learned, Glenn’s leadership assisted in his hospital achieving the 99th percentile in patient satisfaction from Press Gainey. Glenn’s greatest strength is his ability to focus on the big picture while managing expectations; with most important emphasis on patients.
Glenn has positioned a strong team to execute on 2016 goals and committed an unwavering focus on culture, while setting its sights on the trajectory needed to become a world-class company.
Glenn and his wife are ex-officio chairs of Fort Worth’s chapter of Retrouvaille an international marriage ministry. Glenn and his wife have presented all over the country and are often sought to be presenters in this ministry.
Glenn holds a bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University. Glenn is a member of the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine Society (UHMS) and a Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT). He lives in Arlington Texas with his wife and Bella the smallest Chihuahua you have ever seen. In his free time he and his wife like to spoil the grand kids.
As Chief Operating Officer for Complex Healthcare Solutions, reporting to the CEO, Darren oversees new program development, operations and business development for our existing clinics. In addition, Darren is instrumental in development of the physician leadership and local partnership negotiations with referring hospitals and physician practices helping to drive profitability and alignment nationwide with some of the largest health systems and practitioners in the United States. Darren brings 26 years of healthcare experience and leadership to this role, 19 of which have been in senior leadership roles within health systems and outpatient centers. Darren’s extensive experience and expertise in operations training/development, finance, organizational alignment, physician recruitment and business development; provide exceptional strategic direction and profitability to Complex Healthcare Solutions. Darren earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Texas Christian University and a Master’s in Analytical Chemistry/Biomedical Optics from Texas Tech University. Darren is a member of Mensa, the American Chemical Society and the Society of Photo-optical Instrumentation Engineers. Darren lives in Keller with his wife, Stephanie, and their three puppies.
Selena Nix is the Vice-President of Business Administration at Complex Healthcare Solutions, LLC with responsibility for overall project management and implementation of new hospital and provider based wound and hyperbaric clinics. Selena’s varied and strong operational background is a result of having worked in several industries in the past thirty five (35) years; to include commercial construction, television broadcasting, and most significantly her past 15+ years in executive healthcare operations. Selena’s diversified professional experience include leadership roles in: human resources, payroll, employee benefits, office management, accounting, regulatory compliance, safety, revenue cycle and an in-depth knowledge in all aspects of wound care and hyperbaric operations. Selena’s vast operational knowledge uniquely compliments her abilities in project management and implementation in Complex’s start-ups and joint ventures. Prior to coming to Complex Healthcare Solutions, Selena’s project management experience extended into development and construction of a, physician owned, surgical hospital in Fort Worth. Selena has been involved with Complex Healthcare Solutions since its inception in 2004. Her background and experience makes her distinctively qualified to lead our implementation team, insuring our core values and culture are introduced while impressing upon new staff our strong service values. Selena focuses on hardwiring processes into daily operations ensuring purpose in the delivery of patient care and in alignment with our service line client-partners. Selena has effectively integrated objectives, resources and opportunities; encouraging maximum contribution in all aspects of implementation and project management phases. Selena and her husband live on a small farm west of Fort Worth where they are very active in the community. Selena served as Secretary/Treasurer for a volunteer fire department for several years, was appointed as a member the Tax Appraisal Review Board for Parker County. She has served in several other charitable organizations in various capacities, including President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Selena and her husband also organize various fundraisers for many charitable causes.
Victor M Granados is the Chief Nursing Officer at Complex Healthcare Solutions, LLC. As CNO he is responsible for facilitating the design and implementing the delivery of patient care, recommending strategies to improve services, reaching established goals, maintaining satisfactory outcomes and contributing to profitability; to include, clinic oversight, policy and procedure management, and supporting in new service implementation. Victor has been in the hyperbaric and wound care industry for 11 years. He started with Complex Healthcare Solutions in Jan of 2005 as a hyperbaric tech. He has since moved up through the ranks as a wound nurse, clinic manager, and as Complex Solutions’s clinical management implementation authority and possesses an extensive base of knowledge and skill sets. He brings a love for people to his role as interim CNO. Victor’s passion is to see people heal and lives change. Before coming to Complex Healthcare, Victor Served in the United States Air Force Reserves. Victor ‘s desire in caring for people has led him to purse his passion in nursing; a journey from Wound Care tech to HBO Tech, traversing into Licensed Vocational Nurse, and sequentially acquiring his Registered Nursing degree. His aspiration has not wavered as demonstrated in his pursuit of graduate education. Prior to his time in the Air Force, Victor studied Cross Cultural ministries at Southwestern Assemblies of God University.
Anu Bandara is a dynamic technology leader with 20+ years of progressive leadership experience across multiple industries and technical functions.
Currently serving as the Director of Information Technology and Compliance at Complex Healthcare Solutions, Anu spearheads all operations of the information technology department. Centered on overseeing information services, technology organization, and network and telecommunications operations, Anu proactively coordinates with technology and application vendors and manages end-user devices and computers. He is also responsible for delivering HIPAA compliance training for staff members.
Prior to joining Complex Healthcare Solutions in 2015, Anu served in various IT management roles at Johnson Controls and Kaiser Permanente. He is also an Ex-Army Infantry Captain who served in the Sri Lankan Army, holding several leadership positions during his military career.
In addition to his hands-on experience, Anu earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of West London, along with Bachelor’s Degree in Defense Studies and Management from Kotalawala Defense University. He is also a member of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS).
Outside of work, Anu serves as an active community member, playing an integral role in organizing and executing several fundraising events for various charities. Anu currently resides in Keller, Texas, with his wife and two daughters.
Michael Evans is the Corporate Safety Officer for Complex Healthcare Solutions, LLC.
As the Chief Safety Officer Michael is responsible for the safe operation of all the clinics under the Complex Healthcare umbrella. Michael has been with the company for sixteen years and has overseen the building of multiple hyperbaric and wound care centers. Due to his vast knowledge of Hyperbaric medicine and construction, Michael is able to accomplish various jobs from installing and maintaining chambers to a complete buildout of a space.
Michael has a passion for patient care and has worked tirelessly with the Complex team to build a total limb preservation business model and ensure the safety of both staff and patients. Michael has built a chamber maintenance program and a safety program that rises above industry standards and sets the precedence for hyperbaric industry to follow.
Michael has served as a medic in the United States Air Force Reserves for over nineteen years where he has reached the distinguished rank of Master Sergeant. He has deployed twice in his career during two different operations. He was recently awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, an honor given for his commitment and service to his country.
Michael is a register Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), a member of the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine Society (UHMS) and a Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT).
He lives in Hurst Texas with his wife and two children. He and his family are members of Journey Church in Colleyville, TX.
In his free time Michael likes to play golf when he can, ride his Harley Davidson, and spend time with his busy family.
